Geologie partnered with Northwestern University’s Department of Dermatology on a 12-week clinical trial comparing its patent-pending Clear System to a traditional benzoyl peroxide regimen. The study showed similar efficacy in lesion reduction while delivering significantly better user experience, including less irritation and higher comfort during use. The system combines 2% salicylic acid for pore exfoliation, 5% azelaic acid for inflammation reduction, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to support hydration and barrier resilience, and a graduated retinol formulation to promote cell turnover without harshness.
