This clarifying mask is formulated with ShaantComplex™, Codex Labs’ patented blend of Ayurvedic botanicals including Wild Indigo, Patchouli, and Black Jack (Bidens pilosa), clinically shown to reduce inflammatory markers that drive acne formation and post-inflammatory erythema. In vitro tests demonstrated decreased expression of IL-6 and TNF-α—cytokines strongly associated with inflamed and hormonally reactive skin.

Bentonite and kaolin clays absorb excess sebum and environmental pollutants, helping to prevent clogged pores and dullness. Soothing agents like aloe vera, glycerin, and panthenol support hydration and calmness during treatment, preventing the dryness or irritation commonly associated with clay masks. Codex Labs internal testing found that users experienced a noticeable reduction in surface oil and fewer inflamed breakouts after regular use. This mask is suitable for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin types needing a reset without harsh stripping.

Use two to three times a week on the face (and neck if desired). Wet your face, dispense the mask onto fingertips and massage on the face. Let the mask dry for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse.
