This toner is powered by ShaantComplex™, Codex Labs’ proprietary Ayurvedic botanical system designed to combat inflammation and reduce acne-related triggers. Wild Indigo, Black Jack (Bidens pilosa), and Patchouli extracts target the inflammatory cascade by inhibiting key cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-6, both implicated in acne and skin reactivity. Lactic acid provides mild exfoliation that refines texture and minimizes congestion while remaining non-irritating.

The formula is alcohol-free and pH-balanced to support the skin’s acid mantle and microbial equilibrium. It includes sodium PCA and glycerin to draw water into the skin and replenish post-cleanse moisture. Internal Codex Labs evaluations report noticeable improvement in skin tone, clarity, and texture in under two weeks of twice-daily use.
